Replaced a cracked cushion from the rear leaf

Took care of that.

Replaced these Bilstein rear shocks w/some AC/Delco's

'69 Cars & Coffee and '63 tire lid restoration...

Got the Camaro washed and headed off to Saturday 'Cars & Coffee'

Started cleaning up the tire tub/lid for my '63

Came out nice!

The 'ol 64 is nearly back together...

Trailing arms went in first.  Smooth - no issues.

Got the driveshaft & half shafts back from the shop - all new U-joints

Got the trailing arms, half shafts, driveshaft, shocks, and passenger side brakes all installed.  Driver side brakes and rear leaf left ToDo and we'll be back on the road...

63 Fuelie pre-judging ToDo's...

Removed the old Rocker panels...

And got the new ones installed.

Removed the brake cylinder & lines from the old trailing arms 

And got 'em installed in the new trailing arms.  Ready to go!

Driveshaft & Half shafts: time for balance & new u-joints...

Took the driveshaft & half shafts down to S. Bay Driveline

They'll re-balance everything for us

Picked up this yoke "plug" so we could bring the yoke w/us.

That'll prevent any tranny fluid leaks until I get the driveshaft/yoke back from the shop

Trailing arms, half shafts, driveshaft & u-joints...

Jerry & I decided to tackle the drivetrain rebuild on the '64

Gonna get the driveshaft balanced and we'll put new u-joints in

And we'll put new u-joints in the half shafts as well...

A little liquid wrench on the old trailing arm pivot bolts and they came right off.  Advantages of a CA car!

Tear-down complete!  About a 3 1/2 hr. task
