- Electrical: Parking Brake "alarm" light doesn't work. Need to track down.
- Fast idle on Fuel Injection is @ 2200 RPM, need to drop it to 1800
- Seat mounting brackets need sanded, primed & painted on both seats
This is the '63-only parking brake alarm switch. The capacitor mounts at the end of that black bolt. This green wire had a questionable solder connection. |
Some wiring clean-up, new connectors and BINGO! I have a flashing "Brake" light again when the parking brake is activated. |
Fast idle adjustment screw (tip of pen). Counter-clockwise to drop the idle down. |
Me likey! 1,800 RPM at cold start. |
Gonna start with the driver-side seat brackets |
Wire brush, sandpaper, Navy Jelly, acetone. Rinse & Repeat. |
A little touch-up on the side rails as well |
Primed & painted! |
And Hey - look what I found on eBay! |
